Today, I'm 21 weeks pregnant. I am tired, achy and uncomfortable. Other than that - I feel great! :-) For some reason this week I have not been sleeping well - I seem to be able to get a decent 6 hrs and then wake up and can't get comfortable enough to fall back asleep....and when I do I have these crazy dreams. Here are a few "clips" from this week: -My mom wanting to take a Segway from NC to NY w/ Bridgette on it. I was flying but she didn't want to fly or couldn't fly.
-A panther jumped through the loft of my second floor into the office and was attacking someone (I think it was my cousin) - Graham saw this and fought off the panther and the panther ran downstairs and outside. I was afraid something would happen to Graham outside so I was standing in the kitchen trying to look outside but it was dark so I couldn't tell if the panther was still out there and was afraid to go back to sleep (this one woke me up and was really scary!)
-A bunch of us got off a ferry into a dingy and took it over to the dock. Apparently, this girl Sarah was being held on the ferry by Michael Scott (from The Office) and didn't get on the dingy. The ferry was a little ways away from the dock and she escaped and jumped into the water. She couldn't swim and started to drown. There were a bunch of guys standing on the dock and no one was doing anything, so I un-buttoned my jacket and jumped in. I "re-played" this dream a couple of times (I must've been half-awake) because I couldn't figure out how far under the water she was or whether she was just far away from the dock. Then there was all this stuff under the water - like cars and pilings and other city "junk". I was really mad no one else jumped in, but I think she was fine...
-Something about buying a pink dress or a yellow dress for Annie - my mom was in this one too. Don't remember much else, except being at the mall.
Well, these are the ones that I still remember today, so you can only imagine the rest of the dream diary that I could've written a couple of days ago :-)
Baby is moving around quite a bit - usually in the morning for an hr or so and then in the afternoon (around 3 or so, though I just felt baby moving a couple of minutes ago) and then when I lay down at night. It's really a neat feeling - I just wish I could see inside and see whether it's a foot or hand or elbow :-) It'll be interesting to see how the movements change as Benelyn gets bigger!
So, in Baby News....According to BabyCenter: Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.
19 weeks to go!
